BEFORE YOU BUY: 7 THINGS TO THINK ABOUT WHEN PURCHASING AN ELECTRICAL RAZOR FOR SENSITIVE SKIN

If you have touchy skin, finding the right electric shaver is a priority. You’ll have plenty of razors to select from-which is good news-but choosing the field to find the razor that best suits your skin and needs is a bit difficult.

Let’s examine some of the factors to consider when purchasing the best electric shaver for touchy skin.

1.THE TYPE OF RAZOR

Electric shavers are available in two types: aluminum and rotary. We’ll cover each type in more detail later in the article but note that you can use both to shave off sensitive skin. Don’t spill the beans, but razors almost always get the green light from the experts to be the right type of razor for sensitive skin.

It is easy to distinguish between a rotary razor and an aluminum razor: a rotary razor has a thin metal sheet that covers the oscillating blades, while a rotary razor has three circular heads that cover a rotary blade.

2.MOTOR SPEED

Each electric best shaver has a motor that powers the blade. The powerful the motor, the faster the blade moves. And the faster the blade moves, the less likely it is to tug at the hair instead of cutting it cleanly.

The speed of a shaving motor is dignified in cycles per minute (CPM), and the furious motors generally operate in the 10,000 to 14,000 CPM range. One thing to keep in mind is that a furious motor means faster shave, at least in most cases, which generally makes shaving smoother without to apply too much pressure.

You’ll also have to suppose if a razor’s motor causes the shaving head to become overly hot during operation.

3.THE BLADES

A sharp blade can seem intimidating to a person with irritable skin, the sharper the better. A lower quality blade tedious quickly, making it uncomfortable to pull and pull the whiskers. Of course “uncomfortable” is not the type of shave you want if your skin is oversensitive.

A sharper blade allows you to cut areas of your face with fewer strokes, which also decreases the likelihood of skin irritation.

Most electric razors are made of stainless steel and many have a titanium coating.

4.WET & DRY SHAVING

Many electric shavers are satisfactory for both wet and dry use, which is an advantage for most consumers. A suitable razor for wet shaving means that you can use it in the shower and / or with shaving cream. Since shaving cream provides another layer of protection for irritable skin, you may seriously consider buying a wet / dry razor.

5.CORD OR CORDLESS

Many electric shavers are available with a power cord, while many others are cordless (and run on battery). Which one you choose depends on your needs, taste, etc.

Possibly the biggest benefit of a corded razor is that you don’t have to worry about the battery running out in the middle of your shave. The downside is that you have to deal with a power cord, which isn’t necessarily a big headache, but it can restrict your movements or mess with other items in your bathroom or your favorite shaving spot.

Not for hitting power razors that have a cord, as high-quality cord razors flourish, but there are other factors to think if you use one – you should always be near an electrical outlet when shaving , and if you travel a lot, you should always have your cord with you.

Wireless razors offer more mobility and the benefit of shaving wherever you want, but their batteries have a limited lifespan and need to be recharged regularly. Many cordless electric shavers have a light that indicates how long you have left before you need to charge the battery.

6.BLADE & TRIMMER OPTIONS

Many electric shavers available with multiple blade options that allow you to adjust the blade to make the desired shaving proximity .The more options there are, the more likely you are to get a smoother, less irritating shave, at least in theory. You should always take into account the quality of the blades, the speed of the motor and other factors.

In addition, many razors approach with retractable trimmers which facilitate finer and more detailed work on the beard, mustache and sideburns.

7.THE GRIP

Electric shavers that fits adequate in your hand and is easy to maneuver around your face diminish the risk of burns or irritation to the razor. The grip of the razor is important and most razors available with ergonomic handles that provide a comfortable, less restrictive fit for your hand. However, keep in mind that the size of your hand helps to govern if a grip is right for you.
